Jacob Brayden 1-Year Old~
Oh my gosh, today marks 1-year on this Earth for our Little Prince. I cannot believe Jacob has been here for 12-months already. We had a fantastic year, a great Birthday Celebration with all of our friends and family, and a wonderful afternoon just the 3 of us today. Jacob's Birthday Party took place over the weekend...tons of kids, great food, cool cake, and fun cotton candy to add a little more sugar to the day. This afternoon, we celebrated Jake's REAL birthday with an hour at "Monkey Joe's-" a jump zone for kids...they have a section for kids 3 and under, we ended the evening at Friday's- where the staff sang "Happy Birthday" to Jacob with a little ice cream and whip cream on top to end the day just right. (He LOVED the ice cream, yet that expensive, awesome cake at his Party- not so much...oh, well). We had a great celebration.
Little Boy,
You are all of my dreams come true. You are my perfect baby. Though I prayed for you my whole life, and Daddy and I prayed and prayed that we would be blessed with a baby, then all of a sudden, we found out you were on your way- we were SO HAPPY...I could never have imagined you 12-months and 1-day ago, now here you are, and I could not imagine life without you. You are beautiful (handsome!) inside and out. Your eyes amaze me. Your smile melts my heart. Your cries break my heart. Your sweet hands, feet, tummy, and little butt are the cutest in the world. Your voice and laugh are the best sounds I have ever heard. Your full mouth of teeth makes me laugh, your tantrums when you don't get your way (also make me laugh, but I don't let you see that) are pretty amusing. I cannot believe that you came from your Daddy and I...you are so perfect to us. What a difference a year makes...as I write this post this evening, you were just being born a year ago tonight. What an exciting, yet scarey time that all was. Now, here you are...the love of our lives. Thank you, Jacob Brayden Rojas for coming down from Heaven for us. We cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Love you more than anything in the world,
Mommy and Daddy
