I say a "moment" because we did not stay very long. It was a beautiful day (however, it felt like July- it was so
hot, too
hot)- and it was still the morning- the place was packed and it was just plain
hot and uncomfortable. I would prefer the Fall cold instead of a Summer Day at the Pumpkin Patch. My favorite season is made up of one of my favorite traditions- making our way to Goebberts, picking out pumpkins, looking at crafts, eating the Apple Cider donuts or corn on the cobb...it really is fun and I really do enjoy the little chill in the air. This year we were excited to make our way back...but Jacob was just not having it. He was
hot. Tired. Crabby...and done. From the moment we got there. He refused to take any group pictures, as a matter of fact, Uncle Nick had to hold onto him so he would be in atleast ONE of the kid pictures. He was excited to sit on the GIANT rocking chair which we waited in line for, yet once we were up there - he was pissed because he couldn't climb up by himself (did I mention it is a GIANT rocking chair?)- so though we waited in line, once it was our turn, the water works were on full blast. Awesome. We couldn't wait to get home so that we could ALL go down for a nap. However, we did attempt the Pumpkin Farm another day when Daddy got home from work...it was much cooler, and we were all much happier. Some memories to share...
