Blizzard 2011

So the day of the blizzard Jacob, Rocky, and I made our way outside (while Baby slept) to "experience" the deep snow surrounding our home. We started to make a snow tunnel, Jacob made snow angels, and Jacob and Daddy went sledding. Jake was not the biggest fan at first, he did cry a few over the multiple layers he had to wear, the wind on his face, the way his hat was fitting him, not being able to make a snowman ("it was not packing snow"), and not being able to walk in the DEEP snow...he wanted to do it, but it really was too deep and heavy for a little guy to manage on his own...however, he did not want to come in...he secretly was enjoying this adventure. The rest of the day, we enjoyed lounging inside by the fire. Some pictures to share of our Snow Day.
