Poop: Warning this is about poop

Another reason I decided to start a blog was to discuss poop. I am a girly-girl and the word "poop" isn't something that comes out of my mouth very often, but since my new life has started as an official diaper changer, I tend to smell, look at- okay examine, and wrap poopy diapers up and pack them in my bag. Yes, I travel with dirty diapers in my bag. There is a very good reason for this. I have been a very nervous new mom. I worry about everything. Once it's time to change a diaper, I become anxious...does he have poop, pee, diarrhea, or nothing (could he be constipated?) 2-weeks ago, I could have sworn my perfect newborn had diarrhea. I know newborn poop is watery (sorry, too much information), especially breastfed babies, but this had a texture of its own...I was hysterical for 2-days (believe me, I called the doctor a few times too), finally the day of our pediatrician's appointment, I decided to save a few (3 to be exact) dirty diapers from the last 24 hours to share with the doctor as proof (they were all very different examples). She made me feel a little normal about the situation, she reviewed the poop, even did an exam on one of the samples to calm my nerves. The results were fantastic. All was normal. That appointment got me through another week. And then it happened...all of a sudden it seemed as if Jacob couldn't poop. I was hysterical...again. This time I was sure he was constipated. My perfect little newborn is constipated...what do I do? Of course, I spoke to the doctor, she reassured me it was normal, she gave me some tips(I will leave those out of this), and I did the poop dance, and he pooped (and he has again and again ever since)...it was the best day...ever!!!! But, I am telling you...my timing is awful. Everytime I go to change a diaper, my little buddy is still in the midst of a poop...his face is red, his legs are all scrunched up...so I wait...and wait...and wait...I even move his legs a little to get the poop going, my timing is just awful...it is usually in the middle of the night too when I want to go back to bed, but I can't because I have to wait for him to poop. Now Rocky is a pro at diaper changing. This never seems to happen to him. I'm still learning and today is a good poop day.
