This past weekend, I left Jacob for the 1st time for a quick 36 hours in Florida. My very best friend of over 25 years is having a baby in February...and guess what: she is having a boy!!!! Chase Donovan Samole will be joining us in the next few weeks and we cannot wait to meet him. Brigid and David (the soon-to-be new parents) are doing very well and are SO EXCITED for their newest arrival. (2) attorneys having a baby...these two are the busiest people (when it comes to their careers) that I know...now add a baby to it...OMG!!! They are going to be the greatest parents. They are all ready, just waiting for Baby Chase. I enjoyed my quick trip. Fortunately, Rocky was in Florida already for work, so we were able to take advantage of the short, but sweet time away while Grandma and Grandpa (Morkes) watched "the boy." We had a wonderful trip...and Brigid looks BEAUTIFUL!!!

Thanks for havin us last weekend, too by the way. It was so relaxing to catch up with you and the girls. Peyton slept really well, yay!
