Whataboutit?! My kid is 7-Months already!!! Jacob Brayden is closer to being a 1-year old than a newborn. I cannot believe it. This has been such an amazing month. I have just been having a blast. This boy is so full of energy, laughs, "fake coughs" (yes, I said "fake coughs"- he thinks it is the funniest thing ever-), energy, energy, energy.
Jacob has had a month full of "FIRSTS." First Easter, First Spring, First airplane ride, First Beach experience, First Pool Experience, First swinging at the park, First "meat" eating experience- he is now a carnivore officially- loves his turkey feast and chicken and potatoes Baby Food, and lastly, but certainly not last, First Tantrum (uhu- tantrum)- cries, kicks, and screams if you take a toy away.
He is rolling over and trying so hard to crawl. I mean, I really thought my kid was going to skip crawling all together, I thought he thought it was over-rated because of his hatred towards tummy time...but nope. He looks like a fish out of water when I put him on the floor, he tries so hard to grab something, he kicks all of his limbs, and doesn't seem to get very far, but he (and I ) get a "kick" out of it. In the last week, Jacob has learned that the more he rolls over, the more he can move towards an object, so he is getting more and more mobile by the day. He was on his activity mat the other morning (while I was showering), I stopped in to check on him, he was off his mat, and in the middle of his room...just hangin'...wow. loved that activity mat, it will be a "babysitter" for only a little longer until he figures out the whole crawling thing.
We also took some good friends advice and tried out PORTRAIT INNOVATIONS- LOVED IT- Thanks to the St.Leger Family for a wonderful recommendation. These pictures are from our session: Jacob's 7-month Pictures...what a big boy!:) I cannot wait to see what he learns this month. What fun it has been.

Showering with a mobile baby is quite the experience...just wait! He's so cute Jill and I'm so glad you went to PI-the pics are great! You need to post the one in the bath tub too!
Again, beautiful pics. You forgot that he had his first playdate (well large one anyway!) and did great. Did you scan the pics of did they give you a disc?
7 months already! I love the rubber ducky picture! He's such a happy little guy! We should have a play date soon. I missed everyone at Kristin's last weekend. BTW, Congrats on the new place. We can't wait to see it. We are only like 10-15 minutes from there
He is growing so fast and cute as a button!!! The pictures are adorable..can't wait to visit PI!
