An Afternoon at The Carnival

We have been spending lots of time this Summer...just the 3 of us doing lots of fun "summery" things...such as carnivals/festivals.... A few weeks ago, we visited the Lake Zurich SummerFest. I have always enjoyed carnivals...Rocky likes "fests"- those are more for adults- more beer and bingo- "carnivals" are more lines, rides, and kids' games...as you can see from some of these pics, Rocky was not the biggest fan of the crowds or the lines- (check out the smirk) But, really who is? I am the one pregnant over here! I HATE the heat and crowds and lines and anything that requires being out of the air conditioning or not around water. But, just to get Jacob on one of these rides or win a prize for him....I am willing to do anything. Oh, and I did! I won Jake's 1st ever Carnival Prize (it was actually me vs. Rocky on one of those shoot the bulls- eye games)- and I won!!!! I am quite proud that this will go down in the books. All in all, we had a great day...I even think Daddy might have enjoyed the teacups as much as Jacob did!
