This past Sunday night, I came down with a fever, the chills, body aches, sinus pain (that I have been fighting for weeks now), a sore throat, and a cough. The next day, I could barely get out of bed. I made my way to the doctor and received some antibiotics for what he feels is a bacterial infection. It's Wednesday night, and I still feel awful. To make matters absolutely worse, Little Jake woke up Tuesday morning with a 102.5 fever! His face and body were warm, and cheeks flushed. My poor baby. All he could do was whine...I knew exactly what he was feeling. I however, was freaked out, with the swine flu going on and this being his first EVER fever, I made the call to the pediatrician at 5 in the morning. After some tylenol and a cool bath, his fever broke within an hour, he went back to bed, and so did I. Later that morning after playing and taking his nap, Jake woke up super warm again...this time his temp read 105! I gave him tylenol, freaked out, and called the doctor, by the time we made it to the pediatrician's office, his fever broke, and Jacob was diagnosed with a double ear infection...many fevers since...now I think we may have broken through (keeping my fingers crossed)....this truly has been a week ...a long, long week, oh...and I still can't breathe out of my nose! Once this passes, I have decided that I WILL be getting the flu shot for sure.

Recent Happenings and a Decision
It's been over a week since I last posted, needless to say, things have been a little crazy in the Rojas Household. Lots of new activities going on, oh, the cable company turned off my cable AND internet now that I am no longer employed with them...so, we needed to subscribe all over again, but with many issues to add to it...internet and cable going down again, wrong invoice for our new bill, etc, etc...now I know what everyone goes through. This sucks!!
