Weekend with Friends

Last weekend we enjoyed time with lots of our friends and welcomed Fall with open arms...I mean, we have no choice, Fall is here. We started the weekend with a visit from the Samole Family in from Miami. Brigid, David, and Chase came in for the 1st time since Chase's birth (6-months ago) to meet family and friends. Brigid's family hosted a very nice Open House to introduce their first Grandchild to their family and friends. Jacob enjoyed the party as well. I bet by the next visit, Jake and Chase will be able to play together, Chase is a bit young still. He is such a cutie, though. Also, on our way to the party, Jacob rode in his BIG BOY car seat. He really loves facing forward and watching all the cars. I'm still a little nervous.

On Sunday, we made our way to an annual Autumn event in town ( I am happy we now live across the street from!) "Art in the Barn" is a 30-year old Arts and Crafts show that they hold at the Hospital grounds. Lots of great arts and crafts. Fun Fall Festival food, pumpkins, entertainment, and stuff for the kids to do. We ended up making our way over there with the Gormsens, Refviks, and Stanczaks. Jacob LOVED the pumpkins, and would not let us leave without some corn on the cob...he loves his corn. Luke enjoyed some time painting his own pictures in the kids art section, I am looking forward to Jacob being able to do that one day as well. After the festival, we made our way back to our house for some football for the guys, and us gals and the kids had some fun. I included some cute pics of Luke and Jacob...a preview to what's to come. Lukey was showing Jake the ropes in the playroom. It was so sweet. Great weekend.
