Big Bro: Baby on the Way!

...Yes, you read it right...this November, Jacob Brayden is going to be a BIG BROTHER- and we will be the NEW ROJAS FAMILY, Family of 4! I still cannot believe it. This truly is a blessing from heaven. This pregnancy has come as a bit of a surprise to us- which is just the way we always wanted it! It took us a year to get pregnant with Jacob, and this year, we have a BIG wedding coming up in July for my brother, so we thought we would plan on "expanding" late Summer"ish." But, God had other plans, and we couldn't be happier!!!!!! When I first starting writing this post, a few weeks ago (even before my 1st doctor's appointment)- I HAD been feeling fantastic. "No nausea (unlike my last pregnancy where I was so sick for 3 months)! I was pretty exhausted the first couple of weeks, but I am full of energy now, and am happily able to keep up with my "first born.." Ummm...I spoke WAY too soon. Totally nauseous!!!! EXHAUSTED, and am a hormonal twister rolling through my home NOT able to keep up with my toddler...also, my stomach decided to do a- "hey we're pg- lets let it all hang out!!!" So, I look fat/pregnant already, and have only just entered my 2nd Trimester. So I give up on how I look at this point because I really feel as bad as I look. Am I scared about being a mother of 2 babies? Yes, absolutely. Am I dreading the sleepless nights? Yes, Yes, and YES! Am I nervous about another c-section recovery? Yes (if that is how I deliver)- My new mom ADD will return - probably for the rest of my life this time (which means I most likely will never be able to carry on a real conversation with anyone ever again- unless you are a kid), and I am still trying to work off Pregnancy #1 weight- so lots of work to do after the baby is here...But, I think about my NEW family this time next year, and I will have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6-month old- with the Spring in full bloom, that sounds like lots of fun to me!!!! I guess God believes we are up for the challenge- so here we come, with both feet in...ready to rock! When the time comes, we will be ready to be a family of 4!
