Happy Easter

Easter 2010~ Baby Mason~ "Baby's 1st Easter" (6-weeks in this picture)

Easter Brunch~

Easter Morning
Hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break (if you had one) and a fantastic Easter Season. We did not get to enjoy a Spring Break Vacation, but we did take advantage of the nice weather and the Easter Season. We kicked off the Easter Fun a week ago, where we attended Breakfast with the Easter Bunny with a big group of our friends and their kids. The breakfast was nice, however; I think most of the kids became anxious as the Big, giant bunny entered the room- either the kids wanted nothing to do with this enormous furry creature, or they wanted to give him lots of hugs and kisses (the latter was Jacob- he wanted the Big Bunny all to himself- he just loved him, he was probably the only kid that cried when he had to get off of his lap), after the breakfast, the kids enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt- there was a nice little roped off area just for the kids under 2, so each kid was able to go home with atleast one or more eggs!

...the Easter Bunny...

Later in the week, Jacob and I colored some Easter Eggs- he was especially proud of himself (as he should be, he did a great job!) Easter was enjoyable as well. We kicked off the morning with a little "Church Action," followed up with a nice nap, later an afternoon brunch with the family (and another visit with the Easter Bunny) and we ended the day at Grandma Rojas' for more Easter treats. Jake received so many wonderful gifts this year- from the Easter Bunny, his grandparents, and even some of his Aunts and Uncles. Thank you to everyone- you were all so kind. I think Jacob's favorite gift is his new playhouse for the yard (from Grandma Joey and Pa)...coming soon- once Daddy builds it (it might be up by next Easter LOL!) Anyways, great family, great food, some great Easter Bunnies, and good times. Happy Spring.
