A Nice Little Reading Spot...

Well, since I am pretty much outnumbered in this house- 3 boys (Rocky, Jacob, and Mr.Winston- the cat) I have learned to accept that certain rooms in our house are meant for different things. For instance, the bathrooms in our house are now the reading area per say for not just Rocky, but for Jake now too!!! Uggh. So gross...unless, it is your 19-month old son, who is trying to learn how to read AND tinkle on the potty! Yes, we have taken on a new lesson: it is pee pee in the potty...the "tiny potty" has been a nice little prop sitting in his bathroom for a couple months now, until recently Jacob has decided he would give it a try, while reading...and sitting on the potty, we will wait to hear a little tinkle...and nothing. Once he is off the potty, he sometimes pee pees on the floor (uggh), so it is a work in progress. However, Monday night, Jacob made his 1st (and last so far) pee pee in the potty and we really cheered. Boys sometimes are slower than girls to potty train, so we are in no rush, just taking our time...and catching up on some reading...on the potty.
