Little Boy's 1st Fireworks

4th of July Weekend 2010~

Last year around the 4th of July, Jacob was a little over 9-months old. Fireworks were out of the question during that time, his bedtime and infant stage kind of cancelled out the idea. This year was a different story! Jacob has been experiencing so much this year, including his 1st baseball game followed up with some pretty fantastic fireworks. On July 3rd, we joined Rocky's entire family at the Schaumburg Flyers' Game and enjoyed a nice minor league baseball game full of ice cream "dots", nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, and lollipops. Jacob was pretty much in heaven - plus- he was able to see "Cookie Monster" and the Schaumburg Flyers' mascot (a bear), and he even got to bring a balloon home. The finale of the evening was the fireworks...Jacob's 1st. He really thought they were cool as you can see from the pictures...he couldn't keep his eyes off of them.

Also, as you can see from the pictures...ummm...Jacob has this new liking for "Winnie the Poo"- thanks to the St.Legers- , my son has had a "Winnie the Poo" doll since before he was born from one of my baby showers, the kid never cared about him. Well, for many that know Addison St.Leger she has been the biggest "Poo" fan since forever, and she has a HUGE "Winne the Poo" doll at home, well, Jake loves the cartoon, and immediately fell in love with her doll while we were visiting one afternoon, ever since, he has not been able to put Winnie down. It is kind of like the "chicken pox," all of a sudden "Poo" pops up randomly. Huh? How and when did this happen to us? Warning: if you are not a "Poo" fan- do not let your kids visit the St.Leger home, they will leave a fan!!!! Thanks Addie. Anyways, hope everyone had a happy 4th of July weekend.
