Summertime Fun

Fun in the Sun~

..Well, we have been doing what we can to keep busy this Summer. Finally a Summer with great weather, we are ALL over it! Lots has been happening at the Rojas Home. Since I am out of my 1st Trimester (I will be 20-weeks next week- woohoo! 1/2 way there, baby!) , I have had lots more energy, I actually don't even feel pg, except for my growing belly. Also, our backyard is under a bit of construction as we are having a deck built onto the back of our home- we are SO EXCITED for it to be finished and have something to hang out on. With the construction, we have been out and about quite a bit. Jacob and I have been enjoying the Summertime with fun playdates at the parks, mommy and me time at the nature center, Story Time at the park (both Story Time and the nature center offered fun crafts for Jacob to do too- so he has been a little crafty lately as well), and LOTS of pool time at Grandma's house (The Best part about pool time- while Jake naps upstairs in his crib he has at their house, I am able to take full advantage of the sun and pool all by myself and NOT be in public while I do it (b/c I really am not a fan of laying out in public this Summer). It has been a really fun Summer thus far. Jacob is getting more comfortable with the swimming pool, hopefully, this is a good sign for the start of his swim lessons beginning in 2 weeks. We are in the meantime, just taking time to smell the flowers. Some 2010 Summer Pictures...
